The ladies went into the final as the favourites after being crowned ML6 minor premiers during the season, but with 2 draws during the regular season this game against local rivals Glebe was always going to be a tight affair. 

The Briars ladies started as hot as the weather with 2 goals in the opening 5 minutes to Anna Turnbull setting the tone for the game. Glebe fought back well in the 3rd quarter but the strong Briars defence kept the at bay, until Jasmine No scored the 3rd and game sealing goal mid in the 4th quarter. 

A great result for the ladies who have showcased great skill over the course of the season.
