Hello Athletes & Families,

We’re back for another exciting season of Branxton Greta Little Athletics – and we can’t wait to see you all out on the track and field having fun, making friends, and chasing those PBs (Personal Bests)!

📍When & Where:

·         Trial nights 24^th September and 1^st October 2026

·         First competition night 15^th October 2026

·         Every Thursday night from 6:00pm (please try to arrive 10 mins early)
At Miller Park Sports Ground, East Branxton

So grab your sneakers, water bottle, and your biggest smile – we’ll be ready for action!

💡What’s Little Athletics all about?
It’s not just about running the fastest or jumping the highest – it’s about Family, Fun, and Fitness! Each week, kids rotate through a mix of events (sprints, throws, jumps & more) while learning new skills and enjoying time with their mates.

⚡A Few Handy Rules (Little Athletics NSW):
To keep things safe and smooth:

• Tiny Tots play fun games in the centre of the field – but they always need a grown-up close by.
• Uniforms matter! Don’t forget your Branxton Greta singlet with your rego number, age patch, and Coles patch attached.
• Shoes on please! Everyone needs runners.
• Good vibes only! Cheer loudly, support everyone, and respect our volunteers (they’re legends who keep the night moving!).

🙌Parents – You’re Part of the Team Too!
Little Athletics runs on community spirit, and we can’t do it without you. Helping out at events makes the night faster, smoother, and more fun for everyone – plus the kids love seeing you involved!

🌟This Season…
Expect lots of smiles, lots of high-fives, and plenty of “YES, I beat my PB!” moments. Whether you’re sprinting down the track, throwing the vortex, or tackling high jump, remember: it’s all about having a go and doing your best.

🏅Zone Carnivals & Special Achievements
This season, our athletes will also have the chance to represent Branxton Greta at the Zone Carnival on 5-6 December 2026. It’s an awesome opportunity to compete alongside athletes from other centres, make new friends, and experience the excitement of a bigger competition.

• Every athlete who attends Zone will be celebrated for their efforts.
• We’ll also be giving out special prizes and awards for athletes who show outstanding achievements, sportsmanship, or dedication throughout the season.

💬New Families – Don’t Worry!
If you’ve never done athletics before, you’re not alone – everyone starts somewhere. We’ll guide you through it, and before you know it, you’ll feel right at home in the Branxton Greta family.

We’re so excited to have you as part of the Branxton Greta Little Athletics family. Let’s make 2026/2027 our biggest, brightest, and best season yet!
