Under 12s play in a mixed competition (teams composed of both boys and girls).

In 2025, your child may play on one of our u12s teams if they are born 01/01/2014 or later.

Typically children join these teams at around age 10 or 11, but 9 is permitted, given strong swimming ability.

Training: Thursday 5-6pm at the deep end of the pool.

Under 12s will be coached by one of our senior players, who will meet the kids at the deep end of the pool and run the session.

      

Games: Under 12s will compete in the Newcastle Water Polo competition, which is held on Saturdays. Time and location as per draw. 

Tournaments: Under 12s will have the opportunity to play in tournaments in NSW, e.g Coffs Harbour, Orange, and will be coordinated by their team manager and Bar In committee. 

Our u12s last year took home the gold medal after an undefeated season!
