Badminton Australia

I acknowledge and agree that:

  1. I have read, understood and agree to abide by the Australian National Anti-Doping Policy (available on the Sport Integrity Australia website HERE), effective from 1 January 2021. This policy has been adopted by Badminton Australia (BA) and is applicable to all participants in Badminton.
  2. I have read, understood and agree to abide by BA’s National Integrity Framework policies (available on the BA website, effective from 31st March 2022 and applicable to all participants in Badminton.
  3. I have read, understood and agree that any personal data I provide may be collected, stored and used by Badminton Australia in accordance with BA’s Privacy Policy.
  4. I have read, understood and agree to abide by all BA policies and codes of conduct and also agree to comply with any other policies adopted by BA and advised to me in future available on the Badminton Australia website.
  5. It is my responsibility to familiarise myself with these policies, including any updates to the policies and other policies as adopted by BA that I am advised of in future.
  6. A breach of these policies could result in further action being taken, as outlined in the respective policy.

Belconnen Badminton Club

These terms apply to all players if you are a member of the Club (“The Belconnen Badminton Club”, “BBC”,) or participating as a casual player. 

  1. All players including children (under 18 years old) play badminton at their own risk in the Club. The Club accepts no liability for any loss or injury.
  2. Children under the age of 18 years must be accompanied and supervised by their parents or coaches at all times.
  3. All players have to abide by Badminton ACT's policies, including its Integrity policy
  4. All players have to abide by Badminton Australia's integrity policies, including its Child Safety and anti-doping policies.
  5. You (“your”, a player who is a member of the Club or a casual player) agree that images of you as well as your name and your badminton record may appear on the ACTBA website and/or Belconnen Badminton Club Facebook page and/or public media. No photos of children (under 18 years old) should be taken and be shared online without written consent.

  6. The ACT Belconnen Badminton Club can notify you via email about badminton sessions, competitions, or cancellation information.

  7. You understand and accept that participation in badminton activities involves inherent risks, including the risk of injury. You take full responsibility for your participation and will exercise caution during all activities.

  8. You acknowledge that You have read, understand, and will comply with the intent and purpose of the Warning of potential harm / Assumption of risk form (link: https://cdn.revolutionise.com.au/site/i4ogsbewpuowo3pe.pdf).

  9. You will be polite to coaches, other players, and will respect the rights, dignity and worth of others. You acknowledge that You have read the code of conduct provided by Badminton Australia, and agree to abide by these rules.

  10. You understand that the ACT Belconnen Badminton Club may withdraw or suspend your registration at any time, after discussing the reasons with you.

  11. You declare that all the information supplied by you is true and correct. Both the applicant and a parent or guardian must agree if the applicant is under 18 years of age.

  12. You understand that, due to the limited number of courts available, a limited number of players are allowed in each session, as a result additional players are not allowed to enter once the capacity is reached.

  13. You agree to pay annual membership fees and session fees before the start of each session.

  14. You understand that the membership is non-transferable.

  15. The club reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone who is hostile, aggressive, drunk or with any bad behaviour.
