Club Policies and Guidelines

1. Supervision: Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or coach at all times.

2. Risk Acknowledgment: All players, including those under 18, participate in badminton at their own risk. The Club accepts no liability for any loss, injury, or accident.
3. Social Spirit: As a social club, all players must value camaraderie and encourage players of all skill levels to interact and enjoy the game together. All players will make an effort to promote a friendly and inclusive social environment.
4. Minors Safety: Adult players must moderate their smashing power when playing against or with children, ensuring a safe and inclusive experience for all players.

5. New Starters: New badminton starters are not recommended to join playing badminton in this club, only due to the reason that it is a high technical skill sport and proper training is required to avoid injury.

6. Integrity: All players have to abide by Badminton ACT's Integrity policy, Badminton Australia's integrity policies, including its Child Safety and anti-doping policies.

7. Court Etiquette: Please be respectful of other players and rotate courts promptly after finishing a game.

8. Photography: No photos of children (under 18 years old) may be taken or shared online without written consent from a parent or guardian.

9. Memberships: Club membership is non-transferable and cannot be shared with others.

10. Behavioral Expectations: The Club reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone displaying hostile, aggressive, intoxicated, disruptive behavior,  or anyone being inconsistent with the values and expectations of the Club.

11. If you are unwell or have any COVID-19/Cold/Flu symptoms, do NOT turn up to the session. Anyone who shows symptoms shall be asked to leave the venue.
