BeeJays Calisthenics Club Inc was established in 2010 by Belinda Dwyer with the support of her close knit family. Named after the founder, the club prides itself as being family orientated with the focus on providing a fun and friendly environment for girls and boys to enjoy the sport of calisthenics. All of our sections from Tinies to Masters are based in Wyndham Vale. Calisthenics is a team based sport that allows the individual pupils to be taught a range of items from physical work and use of apparatus to song and dance. The coaches, assistants, and helpers at BeeJays help the students develop their own skills and confidence whilst instilling the importance of the individual’s contribution for the benefit of the team. The club also participates in competitions during the year. This allows the pupils to demonstrate their training, appreciate their efforts with the enjoyment of dressing up in costumes and to experience team spirit and sportsmanship. The concert at the end of the year is where the Club gets to celebrate with family and friends and congratulate all the hard work that has been put in by everyone involved.
