Please note all applications for new membership are not considered valid until all required documents have been submitted, all fees have been paid in full AND your membership application has been reviewed and approved by the club's executive committee. If for some reason your application is rejected you will be refunded in full for any fees.

To apply for membership you will require the following documents:

1.  Statement of Eligibility OR Current Firearms Licence

If you don't already hold a current Qld Firearms Licence you will need to obtain a QP515 Statement of Eligibility from Queensland Police Service.

2. Two signed Character References. 

Two signed character references are required from persons who have known you for at least 2 years. They must be over 18 years of age and on the electoral roll. They must not be related or living at the same address. They cannot be committee members of Beaudesert Target Pistol Club.

Once you have entered your details, uploaded the required forms AND paid a $75 joining fee (an invoice will be sent once you submit your paperwork), your application will be submitted to our Executive Committee for approval. If approved you will receive another invoice for the balance of your membership fees payable for the year. Note our membership year runs from July 1 to 30 June. Membership fees include your membership fee for Beaudesert Target Pistol Club, as well as membership to Pistol Shooting Queensland our parent body. A pro rata rate is available for new members who join throughout the year.

Current fees for 2026/2027 (ends June 30 2027). The joining fee IS NOT deducted from the following:

Joining from July 1 - Dec 31:

• Spouse/Partner $360
• Junior $241

Joining from Jan 1-Apr 30:

• Full Adult $280
• Spouse/Partner $247
• Junior $154

Joining from May 1-Jun 30:

• Full Adult $115
• Spouse/Partner $104
• Junior $62

(Please note all membership renewals for the next year (commencing on July 1) fall due on June 30th. This is a hard deadline and any dues not paid by this cutoff are required to be reported to QPS immediately.)

I agree that all collected details can be stored on the club database(s) electronic and paper, and club members / committee members can access such information as required for club business, in accordance with the club constitution and privacy policy.  I agree my full name, living address, date of birth and joining date will be supplied to Pistol Shooting Queensland, Target Pistol Australian and any organizations these bodies deem should be in receipt of such information and in accordance with their privacy policies.  I further acknowledge the Beaudesert Target Pistol Club Inc. will comply with any lawful request to provide any member details kept, to State and Federal Police without notice to the member.  I understand my attendance details will be supplied to Police and any other governing or Governmental bodies as required or requested.

I agree to abide by the rules and regulations as issued by ISSF, PSQ, PA and by the Beaudesert Target Pistol Club Inc. and any directive issued by the President or committee member.  The Beaudesert Target Pistol Club Inc. ‘Privacy Policy’ is stored in the Policy manual located in the clubhouse and all members are encouraged to read the document.  Copies are available on request from the secretary.
