Registration for this event closes at Tue 23 Jun 2026 9:00PM.
Supervised Range Sessions (Non Member) are for prospective new members who wish to attend the range for practice and skill development. The fee for these sessions is $10 which includes club pistol hire.
All unlicensed shooters (i.e. those who do not hold a Category H firearms licence) must be supervised one-on-one at all times on the range by an approved, licensed member of the BTPC Training Team.
Booking an SR Session ensures that a supervisor is available for you. If supervision cannot be arranged, we will advise you in advance, helping to avoid unnecessary frustration for everyone.
SR Sessions may be booked by prospective members who have already participated in a Come & Try Day and would like to attend again. Prospective members may attend the club up to three times (including their initial Come & Try Day) before joining. This allows additional visits while awaiting a Statement of Eligibility from Queensland Police and processing of membership paperwork.
SR Sessions are allocated on a first-in, best-dressed basis. Bookings open two weeks in advance. If you are unable to attend your booking, please email or message us as soon as possible so your spot can be offered to another member.
SR Session bookings will be automatically cancelled if you are not known to the club’s Training Team.
If you wish to visit the club to determine whether it is suitable for you, please attend a scheduled Come & Try Day or arrange an appointment to meet with a club representative.
SR Sessions are available only to new members or individuals who are actively progressing through the membership process.
Please note: Wednesday afternoon sessions are only in the Air Pistol Range. Saturday sessions will either be Air Pistol or the 25m Range depending on where you are up to in your new member pathway.
