Welcome to Black Cats Softball Club! 

We are a family friendly club, located in Ipswich, QLD. We cater for ages 4+,any skill level, boy, girl, women and men.

From humble beginnings, the Black Cats Softball Club has grown to be a premier community club within 2 years.

The club was founded in 2022 when local members identified the need for an additional softball club within Ipswich. Starting with just 36 members in 2022, in 2024 the club has now proudly grown to over 140 members. 

The club's aim was to provide a welcoming, safe and friendly club environment with quality sporting facilities for the community, and in 2022 the dream was realised when the Black Cats Club officially took the field.

Today the club proudly supports the development and growth of it's members. Our aim is to continue to welcome, grow and develop lifelong players to the sport, and to Black Cats, through the support of a band of dedicated coaches, officials, administrators and supporters.
