Be Part of Something Extraordinary – Volunteer at the BWF World Senior Championships 2027

In November 2027, Geelong will welcome the badminton world as the BWF World Senior Championships come to Australia – and we’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us make it an unforgettable experience.

From 28 November to 5 December 2027, players, officials, supporters and visitors from across the globe will come together in Geelong for one of the world’s largest international badminton championships. This is your opportunity to be right at the heart of the action.

Whether you’re passionate about badminton, love major events, want to meet people from around the world, or simply want to contribute to something special in your community, we’d love to hear from you.

Volunteers will play a vital role across many areas of the Championships, including competition and venue operations, athlete and visitor services, line judging, transport, accreditation, event activations and more. There will be opportunities for people with a wide range of skills and experience – you don’t need to be a badminton expert to get involved!

As a volunteer, you’ll join a diverse team, gain valuable major-event experience, make new connections and help showcase Geelong and Australia to the international badminton community.
