Terms Of Registration

I acknowledge and agree that:

1. I have read, understood and agree to abide by the Australian National Anti-Doping Policy (available on the Sport Integrity Australia website HERE), effective from 1 January 2021. This policy has been adopted by Badminton Australia (BA) and is applicable to all participants in Badminton.
2. I have read, understood and agree to abide by BA’s National Integrity Framework policies (available on the BA website, effective from 31st March 2022 and applicable to all participants in Badminton.
3. I have read, understood and agree that any personal data I provide may be collected, stored and used by Badminton Australia in accordance with BA’s Privacy Policy.
4. I have read, understood and agree to abide by all BA policies and codes of conduct and also agree to comply with any other policies adopted by BA and advised to me in future available on the Badminton Australia website.
5. It is my responsibility to familiarise myself with these policies, including any updates to the policies and other policies as adopted by BA that I am advised of in future.
6. A breach of these policies could result in further action being taken, as outlined in the respective policy.

By submitting an Expression of Interest to volunteer at the BWF World Senior Championships 2027, I acknowledge and agree that:

• Expression of Interest: Submitting this form is an Expression of Interest only and does not guarantee that I will be offered a volunteer position.
• Volunteer Selection: Badminton Australia may consider volunteer requirements, availability, experience, skills and suitability when allocating volunteer roles and shifts.
• Event Dates and Availability: The BWF World Senior Championships will be held in Geelong from 28 November to 5 December 2027, with some volunteer roles potentially required before or after these dates for event set-up and pack-down.
• Volunteer Requirements: If selected, I agree to comply with reasonable instructions provided by Badminton Australia and event organisers and to participate in any required volunteer induction, training or briefing.
• Codes, Policies and Conduct: If appointed as a volunteer, I will be required to comply with applicable Badminton Australia and event policies, codes of conduct and integrity and safeguarding requirements.
• Screening Requirements: Some volunteer roles may be subject to eligibility or screening requirements, including a valid Working with Children Check and/or other checks where appropriate to the role.
• Personal Information: I consent to Badminton Australia collecting and using the information provided in this form for purposes associated with volunteer recruitment, selection, communication, planning and delivery of the BWF World Senior Championships 2027, in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.
• Communications: I consent to being contacted by Badminton Australia and/or authorised event personnel regarding my Expression of Interest, volunteer opportunities, training, rostering and information relating to the Championships.
• Photography and Media: I understand that the Championships will be photographed and filmed. If selected as a volunteer, further information regarding photography, filming and use of images may be provided as part of the volunteer appointment and induction process.
• Changes and Withdrawal: I understand that volunteer roles, responsibilities, schedules and requirements may change as event planning progresses, and that I may withdraw my Expression of Interest at any time by contacting Badminton Australia.
