Join us every Tuesday from 5:30 to 8:30 at Pridham Hall.

Members climb free! 

At Pridham Hall the club has an 8 meter climbing wall with climbs at a range of different difficulties. We climb using a ground anchor, toprope setup which is ideal for beginners who are learning to climb and belay. As you progress, or for more advanced climbers, there is also the possibility of getting involved in routesetting!

What you need to do as a first timer:

Come to the climbing wall at Pridham Hall around 5:30pm (you can't miss it!) and speak to one of us. We will then give you a belay induction. If you already know how, we'll just double check your technique. If you have no idea how it works, don't worry, we will teach you :) Then you're ready to hop on the wall. Please do not arrive after 6:00pm if it is your first time so that we have time to do the induction.

All gear is provided so you just need to show up and have fun.

Please note that you must have membership to come to this event. However, We will have a few come and try dates throughout the semester. Keep your eyes peeled for those.

Please also note that the event is only on during class weeks i.e. there is Pridham climbing during the Midsemester break or during Semester breaks, however you can always go climbing at VRC on those days instead.
