Event information

This event is sold out.

Join us for the first camp of the year at Onkaparinga National Park 🏞️πŸͺ¨πŸŒ„! Spend the weekend getting to know AUMC members through hiking, climbing, swimming, and slacklining in the spectacular Onkaparinga Gorge.  Whether you're a beginner or an experienced climber, challenge yourself at Top Cliff with breathtaking views of the Gorge. Cool off in waterholes nearby, complete with a thrilling rope swing and a slackline set up. Explore bushwalks that lead you into the gorge and along the cliffs' tops. Our overnight campsite is equipped with a toilet and dishwashing facilities, but no drinking water so make sure you pack enough for the two days. As a Mountain Club member, you can freely hire camping gear for this trip, so don't worry if you need a tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, or stove. Climbing gear will also be availible for members to rent if they wish to climb. Please note that it is snake season so closed shoes are a good idea.
