Badminton Australia

I acknowledge and agree that:

  1. I have read, understood and agree to abide by the Australian National Anti-Doping Policy (available on the Sport Integrity Australia website HERE), effective from 1 January 2021. This policy has been adopted by Badminton Australia (BA) and is applicable to all participants in Badminton.
  2. I have read, understood and agree to abide by BA’s National Integrity Framework policies (available on the BA website, effective from 31st March 2022 and applicable to all participants in Badminton.
  3. I have read, understood and agree that any personal data I provide may be collected, stored and used by Badminton Australia in accordance with BA’s Privacy Policy.
  4. I have read, understood and agree to abide by all BA policies and codes of conduct and also agree to comply with any other policies adopted by BA and advised to me in future available on the Badminton Australia website.
  5. It is my responsibility to familiarise myself with these policies, including any updates to the policies and other policies as adopted by BA that I am advised of in future.
  6. A breach of these policies could result in further action being taken, as outlined in the respective policy.

Northern Territory Badminton Association

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP

As per the NT Badminton Association Inc. Constitution, annual membership to Badminton NT is enabled through these Affiliation Terms and Conditions.

Members will agree to:

1. Be bound by the Badminton Northern Territory Constitution and the By-Laws of Badminton Northern Territory (including By-Laws specific to the relevant category of members) and the Badminton Australia Constitution.

2. Declare that the information given in the application is true and accurate.

3. Complete all required information on the registration form.

4. Pay the prescribed fee.

5. Accept the Privacy Statement.

Payment of Registration Fee:

  • Registration expires on the 30th of June every year.
  • Players have 14 days to renew their registration and pay the fee after which it will be archived.
  • New members will be required to pay their fees on submission of the registration form. New registrations will be provisionally accepted until payment has been cleared and Badminton NT has approved the application. Players will be informed of their registration number once approval has been given.
  • Applications from past members with outstanding debts will not be approved until those debts are paid.

 

BENEFIT OF BECOMING A MEMBER

INSURANCE

Badminton NT cannot stress enough the importance of proper insurance coverage, and as such, is part of a National Insurance Scheme in conjunction with Badminton Australia.

Insurance – Personal Accident

• Capital Benefit up to $50,000 as per percentage scale in the policy wording

• Loss of income of $300 per week or 80% of weekly salary if less, with a

 14-day excess period, 52-week maximum benefit period

• 80% of any Non-Medicare Medical expenses up to a maximum of $2000, $20 excess, 12-month benefit period

ENTRY TO BADMINTON NORTHERN TERRITORY SANCTIONED AND NATIONALLY SANCTIONED EVENTS

Registered players are permitted to compete in selected State & Nationally sanctioned tournaments.
