To complete your application for membership please ensure that you read, understand, acknowledge and accept the Standardised Terms and Conditions of your membership.

If the applicant is under 18 years of age this section, and the Standardised Terms and Conditions must be read, understand, acknowledge and accepted by the applicant's parent or legal guardian.

Welcome to the sport of rowing in Western Australia. We thoroughly hope you enjoy your experience rowing.

By accepting these Terms and conditions you are agreeing to abide by all of Rowing WA's policies, most notably those related to National Integrity, Code of Conduct and Child Safeguarding.

Please be aware that by applying for/renewing membership, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.

General Club Policies

You agree to comply with all policies outlined in our Member Handbook.

Private Boat and Equipment Storage (abridged)

Approval Required: Storage of boats and equipment is entirely at the discretion of the Committee, is not automatically extended to members and requires a written application to the President or Captain.
Default Actions: The Club claims a contractual lien over stored boats and equipment for unpaid fees. If fees remain unpaid for 120 days or more, the Club may take possession and sell or dispose of the boat(s) after providing 30 days' written notice.
Storage at Member's Risk: All private boats are stored at the member's/owner's risk.
Termination and Removal: Upon ceasing to be a member, all boats and equipment must be removed within 30 days.

Equipment Damage Policy (abridged)

Damage Fees: A fee of up to $200 per seat in the boat (including the cox) may be payable if club equipment is damaged while rowing. This cost will be enforced by the Committee on an individual incident basis, considering the severity of the damage and the circumstances around the damage.

Photography and Images (General Terms)

I acknowledge that Rowing Australia, my State Sporting Organisation (RWA), and ANA Rowing Club may make, create, store, record, transmit, and reproduce photographs and electronic images of me. I consent that they, or their authorised third parties, may use these photographs or images for proper purposes without identification or compensation of any kind.
