Aintree Table Tennis Club was formed in Feb 2019 with the purpose of socializing, promoting health, and having fun in one of the newest suburbs “Aintree” in the northwest of Melbourne. The club started with just 2 tables which were set up in the community hub provided by the Developer "Woodlea". The club is small at the moment with just 20 registered members, however, its popularity is increasing. The club is incorporated, not-for-profit, and is affiliated to table tennis Victoria.
The club is working on expanding it by increasing its awareness in the community via social media, bringing in more tables, and also has plans to move to a permanent location in Aintree at the Aintree Primary School.
