2025 AGM
Registration for the AGM in Temora, NSW on 25 October is now open on revolutionise: https://www.revolutionise.com.au/abs/events/295626 which includes some pdfs that provide more details. Please register now so that we can plan appropriately.
The AGM is proving to be one of our most popular events each year as a short trip to an interesting destination (Temora in 2025) at a time of year with reasonable weather in a central location. Come for the whole weekend or just the AGM. Again, the ABS will provide dinner after the AGM.
The Notice of Meeting for the AGM will go out shortly. Please consider nominating for the Committee.
Better Beechcraft Maintenance
Important! Please send your LAME’s contact details, or the maintenance organisation they work for, to jock.folan@bigpond.com so that we can invite them to attend a Beechcraft-specific practical maintenance workshop with Bob Ripley on March 23 next year in Cowra. The workshop is for AMEs, not pilots.
All Beechcraft operators will understand the benefits arising from our maintenance engineers sharing information and experiences so as to best preserve the Beechcraft fleet operational. The engineers who attended the last workshop in 2023 unanimously found it to be really valuable, even those with over 20 years experience. While the ABS can put on the workshop, we need you to tell us the right people to invite. Please do so as soon as possible so we can ensure we have sufficient numbers.
TechTalk
Our next TechTalk is scheduled for next Tuesday 9 September. The topic is still being finalised pending presenter availability and will, be published on revo once finalised. Usual GoogleMeet details - TechTalk link
