About

Abbotsford 12’ Sailing Club is a family oriented club that has been supporting sailing for nearly 90 years. The club has a strong essence of promoting family involvement as well as developing sportsmanship, sailing skills and community spirit. We promote member involvement in the running and maintenance of our club which allows us to offer a reasonable fee structure.

The clubhouse, built entirely through the efforts of members, is located on the Parramatta River and conducts racing every weekend from September through to April for sailors of all ages and abilities in a variety of boats.

A12’SC conducts a junior fleet of optimists and sabots, a strong lasers division and also racing for 12’ skiffs and cherubs. The club has a close association with Abbotsford Sea Scouts and Iron Cove Venturers and provides an Open class for other types of monohull dinghies.

We have a well- maintained fleet of support craft and a keen race management team that conduct the weekly events.

We offer canteen and bar services each race day and a variety of social functions during the season.

Our club is a family friendly environment in which we encourage all members to join and participate in both the on and off water activities.
