OHAHC round 14 -- Saturday, July 25th

We are home -- last double header of the season! Usual timing! Women's team first at 1:30 pm, playing Waverley. Men's team second at 3:00 pm, playing Casey. BBQ to operate! Last weekend's results -- the women's team defeated Bayside Powerhouse 3-2 in a come-from-behind-the-first-quarter win! The men's team suffered a 5-0 loss to Southern, demonstrating the difficulty of starting a match with only 7 players, but happy to report no more goals once we had 10 players on the field!

OHAHC round 13 -- Saturday 18/7 and Sunday 19/7

We are away! Women's team plays at Albert Park against Bayside Powerhouse at 12:30 pm on Saturday. Men's team plays at Moorabbin against Southern United at 2:00 pm on Sunday. Good luck! Round 12 saw MCC defeat the women's team 2-0, scoring only in the first quarter, after which our team matched MCC. The men's team had a close loss to Mornington Peninsula 4-3, after coming back to equalise the score twice during the match -- couldn't make it thrice after a late goal from MP!

OHAHC round 12 -- 11-7-26 Sat.

Hurrah! Another double-header home round! The women's team is playing MCC at 1:30 pm and the men's team is playing Mornington Peninsula at 3:00 pm. Round 11 results saw a 1-1 draw for the women's team against Camberwell and the men's team lost only 0-4 to Dandenong (on top of the ladder, undefeated).

OHAHC round 11 -- 2026 June 27 and 28 -- Saturday and Sunday!

Our WPDSE team is playing Camberwell on Saturday at Koonung Secondary College. Our MM2S team is playing Dandenong on Sunday at Dandenong (note that the car park and entrance has been moved!). Last week -- the women's team fought hard against Mentone in their close 1-2 loss, and the men's team fought hard against Maccabi in their not-so-close 0-4 loss!

OHAHC round 10 -- 20 and 21 June 2026

Both teams playing at home this round, but on different days! The women's team playing as usual on Saturday, versus Mentone. However, the men's team is playing at home on Sunday, versus Maccabi. Good luck! Round 9 results: the women's team defeated Hawthorn 4-0 and the men's team drew 1-1 with Monash Univ.

OHAHC round 9 -- Saturday 13 June 2026

After the weekend off, let's go! Both teams playing on Saturday, the women at 12:30 against Hawthorn at Hawthorn-2 and the men at home against Monash Univ. Previous round results: WPDSE lost 2-0 to Casey and MM2S lost 2-1 to Frankston. Let's turn the tables this weekend!!

OHAHC round 8 -- Saturday, 30 May and Sunday, 31 May 2026

Home match for WPDSE at 1:30 pm, Saturday, playing Casey again. Away match for the men on Sunday, playing Frankston at the Peninsula Hockey Centre at 12:30 pm. Play hard! Results for round 7: both teams lost 4-1. The women's team is fifth on the ladder (of eight teams), and the men's team is eighth of ten teams. Plenty of opportunities to climb the ladder!!

OHAHC round 7 -- Saturday, 23 May and Sunday, 24 May 2026

The MM2S team is playing Mentone at home on Saturday at 3:00 pm. The WPDSE team is playing Waverley away on Sunday at 3:30 pm. Go teams! Results for round 6 were mixed: the women's team defeated Bayside Powerhouse 3-1 with a scoring first half, and the men's team lost 3-1 to Collegians-X after equalising in the second quarter.

OHAHC round 6 -- Saturday, 16-5-26

Hurrah! Another double-header round at home! Women at 1:30 pm, playing Bayside Powerhouse, and then the men playing Collegians-X at 3:00 pm. Come along and enjoy the games and (hopefully) the weather! Round 5 results: the men defeated Casey 4-3, after leading and then losing the lead, and getting it back again when it counted, so well done on sticking to the game plan! The women played a tough 3-3 draw with MCC.

OHAHC round 5 -- 2026, May 9 -- Saturday

Both teams playing away matches -- the men first, playing Casey at 12:30 pm, and the women with a late match, playing MCC at 5:00 pm. Good luck! Round 4 results were slightly mixed -- Clark's 750th saw the men's team inflict a rare defeat on Southern United, scoring 6-0 in a dominant display, and Del's 250th and Clare's 100th games were rewarded with a high-quality match against Camberwell, which was however just a little stronger and won 4-3. Congratulations on your milestones!

OHAHC round 4 -- May 2, 2026 -- Saturday

Double-header at Haileybury, Keysborough! Women's team v. Camberwell at 1:30 pm, followed by the men's team v. Southern United at 3:00 pm. Come along and celebrate three milestones: 100 games for Clare, 250 for Del and 750 for Clark! Well done; great effort!! Round 3 results: WPDSE had a 2-2 draw with ladder leaders Mentone with a fighting catch-up game; MM2S suffered a 0-4 loss to Mornington Peninsula, but with only nine players it could have been worse!! Go Bloods!

OHAHC round 3 -- 26 April 2026, Sunday

Both teams playing at 11:00 am -- the women playing Mentone at their ground opposite the School in Keysborough, and the men playing Mornington Peninsula at Monash Frankston. Play hard! Round 2 results -- a great 4-0 win for the women over Hawthorn (scoring all in the second half) and a very close 1-2 loss for the men against Dandenong. Well done, teams!

OHAHC round 2 -- Saturday, 18 April 2026

Roll up for our first double-header matches at home this season -- Haileybury Keysborough! Women up first, playing Hawthorn at 1:30 pm, followed by the men at 3:00 pm versus Dandenong. Go Bloods!! Round 1 results: the women's team played well, scoring the first goal but going down 1-2 to Casey; the men's team played short during the first half, when the main damage was done, finally going down 1-4 to Maccabi.

OHAHC round 1 (v2) -- Sat. 11 and Sun. 12 April 2026 -- revised!

Here we go! Our women's team up first, playing Casey at Berwick Secondary College at 2:00 pm on the Saturday, followed by the men's team at Elwood on the Sunday, at 2:00 pm, playing Maccabi. Have fun and good luck! [HV changed the fixture on 2-4-26, in case you were wondering.]

Coming soon! Get registered now and join in the fun! Our women's team promoted from Metro 1 South to Pennant D South-East, in recognition of their outstanding performance over the last two seasons! Our men's team remains in Metro 2 South, where we are competitive with all of the teams in the grade.

Runners Up!

Our women's team was defeated in the Grand Final by Mentone, 1-4. Mentone had a very strong start to the match, however our team had most of the attack in the second half, with no reward on the scoreboard. Nevertheless, a great season for the team, most deserving Minor Premiers! Well played, team!

OHAHC Women's Grand Final!

Our Women's Metro 1 South team will play the Grand Final against Mentone on Saturday, September 13th! The final will be played at the Hawthorn Malvern Hockey Centre, Auburn Road, Hawthorn. Aiming for the second premiership flag in a row -- go Bloods!

OHAHC Women to play in the Grand Final!

Our women's team defeated Mentone 3-2 in the Qualifying Final to advance to the Grand Final. The location and timing of the Grand Final will be announced by HV once the Preliminary Finals have been completed. The Prelim Final will be between Mentone and Mornington Peninsula on Sunday, 7 September.
