Welcome to the Lake Macquarie Dolphins – Your Home for Water Polo in the Hunter!

At the Lake Macquarie Dolphins Water Polo Club, we’re proud to call Swansea and Speers Point swim centres our home. As one of the region’s leading clubs, we offer exciting opportunities for athletes of all ages and skill levels to enjoy the sport of water polo, develop their game, and become part of a vibrant, supportive community.

Our club competes in the local Hunter Region competition, running from October to March, with teams in:

• U12s (mixed)

• U14s and U17s (Boys and Girls)

• Men’s and Women’s A, B, and C grades

For our youngest players, we run a Flippaball program (U8s and U10s) – the perfect introduction to water polo that focuses on water confidence, basic skills, and, most importantly, fun!

Whether you're just starting out or striving for representative success, we have a place for you. The Dolphins have a proud history of developing players from grassroots to elite level, with many of our juniors progressing through to regional, state, and national squads.

We’re more than just a club – we’re a community. Our passionate coaches, volunteers, and families are dedicated to creating a positive, inclusive environment where every player feels supported and inspired to reach their potential.
