Dean Heffernan is the sole principal owner of Astute Belmont, with over 30 years in banking and finance industry. Before Mortgage Broking he spent 20 years at CBA as an experienced Private and Premier banker looking after high net-wealth clients and providing personalised one on one professional service regarding finance, banking, insurance and wealth management.

He prides himself on honesty and establishing long standing client relationships. With an understanding that the purchasing of a dream home can be the most important event in the lives of many, he ensures that clients receive the patient guidance and care needed to navigate through this time.

Dean currently holds a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking along with Diploma of Financial Services. He has a demonstrated skillset in all lending, banking, credit analysis and business development.
His interest’s outside of work include travelling, outdoor activities especially all sports and is an accredited soccer referee on the weekends.
