2018 Mid-season musings

Mid-season musings on the first half of the 2018 Winter season, and looking ahead to the back-end, and the finals series.

Hockeyroos visit Hornsby RSL Hockey

On the 1st May, Hornsby RSL Hockey club were fortunate enough to receive a visit from Anna Flanagan and Georgie Parker, 2 Hockeyroos players who have both represented Australia more than 100 times. Anna and Georgie ran coaching drills for the members of the Hornsby RSL Hockey Club for almost 2 hours, and with more than 45 players and their hockey playing children attending, it was a night not to be missed.

2018 Boot Camp Pre Season Training

2018 brings us another year of fun playing Hockey and we kicked started it with a Pre Season Boot Camp 1 hour Training Session. We bought in a Personal Trainer who gave us a really Dynamic workout.. Turnout was great, and 16 people were ready to shake of those extra kilo's we may have gain over Christmas and sweated it out for a full hour

2018 Committee Newly appointed

A new committee for 2018 has been elected to run the club. Many thanks go to the 2017 Committee for all the Hard work that goes into Running our club,  Our new club officials are: President: Celeste Upton Vice President: Karen Janson Secretary: Elizabeth Williams Treasurer: Rushani Jayasuriya Fundraising:  Kirran Beskin & Emily Morgan Thank you to everyone who attended the meeting, and to the people who've volunteered their time and energy to keep the club going and the hockey fun!

2017 President's Report

In Season 2017 we were very privileged to once again have the support of the Hornsby RSL Club. The monetary support from the Club and their in-kind sponsorship keeps our Club running giving members of our local community like you and I the opportunity to play hockey. Thank you to the Hornsby RSL Club for your continued support this season.
