Training Camp

The Japan Open Tournament marked the commencement of an intensive 8-day training camp hosted at Tosu Technical High School, situated near Fukuoka. Distinguished as the top-ranked U17 team in Japan, Tosu High School's wrestling team boasts the reigning champions of U17, U15, and U14 titles in both Japan and Asia.
Our team experienced a resounding success during the training camp, thanks to the warm hospitality extended by our hosts. The camp provided a valuable opportunity for our athletes to engage in rigorous training sessions with a diverse range of partners, varying in skill levels and sizes. Notably, our team had the privilege of receiving guidance from Japan's U17 head coach and several esteemed ex-world and Olympic medalists.
This immersive training experience not only enhanced our team's skills but also fostered a deep appreciation for the rich wrestling culture at Tosu Technical High School. We are grateful for the invaluable lessons learned and the friendships forged during this remarkable training camp.
