2022 Oceania Championships Selection Event

The 2022 Ocenia Selection Event is part of the 2022 Commonwealth Games Nomination Criteria, see here.

Registration

• Wrestlers (or an adult their behalf where the wrestler is a < 18 yrs old) must register online.
• Competition fees are set at $75 and at the following weight divisions.
  •  Male Cadet U/17 kgs: 41-45; 48; 51; 55; 60; 65; 71; 80; 92; 110kgs 
  •  Female Cadet U/17 kgs: 36-40; 43; 46; 49; 53; 57; 61; 65; 69; 73kgs 
  •  Male Junior U/20 kgs: 57; 61; 65; 70; 74; 79; 86; 92; 97; 125kgs 
  •  Female Junior U/20 kgs: 50; 53; 55; 57; 59; 62; 65; 68; 72; 76kgs 
  •  Male Senior Freestyle kgs: 57; 61; 65; 70; 74; 79; 86; 92; 97; 125kgs 
  •  Male Senior Greco-Roman kgs: 55; 60; 63; 67; 72; 77; 82; 87; 97; 130kgs 
  • Female Senior kgs: 50; 53; 55; 57; 59; 62; 65; 68; 72; 76kgs  
• State Membership – All competitors must be 2022 State Members.
• Requirement - Sports Integrity Australia on-line education courses
  • All athletes that compete in the Senior Class must complete the following Sports Integrity Australia Anti-Doping Education Courses 
  • Anti-Doping Fundamentals Course (Formerly Level 1)
  • Annual Update 2022 (Formerly Level 2) 
  • All certificates to be sent to admin@wrestling.com.au
• Australian Citizenship - Proof of Australian Citizenship is required on registration.
• COVID Requirements - AIS require all competitors to be fully vaccinated and be able to supply proof if required
