WPACT will be holding a referee education session for those wishing to referee in the ACT Summer and/or Winter JUNIOR competitions. This session will be conducted by FINA Technical Water Polo Committee member, Don Cameron and will cover a range of topics to help create consistency in refereeing our Junior Competitions.

The session is free however is only open to those who have completed and/or completing a WPA referee accreditation. For those who wish to complete the accreditation, Ryan McDermott will be on hand to help enroll participants into the community referee course on the day. 

After the completion of the theoretical component, referee’s will be given the opportunity to put their new knowledge into practice and potentially be assessed if they are at this point in their accreditation process.

The agenda for the education session is: 

10am - 11:30am - Referee education - 1st Session (FULL)

11:30-12:00 - Lunch - All Welcome

12:00pm-1:30pm - Referee education - 2nd session

Location: CISAC, in the timing room near the deep end of the 50m pool

Cost: Free, must be completing referee course
