Notice: WPACT Annual General Meeting 2025
All current WPACT members are invited to attend the next Annual General Meeting for Water Polo ACT Incorporated, held in accordance with the Associations Incorporation Act 1991 and the Constitution of Water Polo Australian Capital Territory Incorporated. The details of the meeting and registration requirements are as follows.
Date: Sunday, 23 November 2025
Time: 2:00pm
Location: Ainslee Football Club, Antill Room
The purpose of the meeting will be to:
·Confirm the Minutes of the AGM from 2024;
·Table the WPACT Annual Report for 2025, including the financial reports and the auditors report;
·Elect the (two) Elected Directors;
·Appoint the Auditor for the financial year ending 30 June 2026;
·Consider any recommendations for appointment as a Life Member;
·Appoint the Patron of WPACT;
·Consider any motions of which due notice has been given.
In accordance with Clause 17 of the Constitution, nominations are hereby called for elected and appointed Directors of WPACT. A copy of the director nomination form can be found HERE. A Director Nomination Information Pack is available HERE.
In accordance with Clause 17.7 of the Constitution:
The following directors, holding elected director positions, are retiring at the AGM, in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution:
- Matthew Turnbull
- Liam Shepherd
The following directors, being eligible for re-appointment, are offering themselves for nomination as elected directors for a further term:
- Matthew Turnbull
- Liam Shepherd
