What is the development squad?

The development squad is for Wagga based players who were selected into the ACT representative squad and require regular training to meet squad expectations

The development squad will be run by experienced players and coaches, aiming to develop key fundamental water polo skills and practice skills learnt at ACT training sessions.

 

Training sessions

Training sessions will be held from week 4 to week 10 of term 2, 2024. More details are below:

When:

Tuesday - Water Polo Training

Wednesday - Swim Training

Thursday - Water Polo Training

Times: 

Tuesday - 18:30-20:00

Wednesday - 18:45-20:00

Thursday - 18:30-20:00

Location: 

Oasis Regional Aquatic Centre

 

Training Costs

The cost of training is $175 for term 2. This will be invoiced shortly and is due within 2 weeks of issuing the invoice.

 

Coaches

Rory Maguire and Ryan Menz will take lead on the Water Polo training sessions. Ben Creighton will take the lead on the swim sessions.
