Water Polo ACT (WPACT) is calling for expressions of interest from suitable individuals to fill a newly created WPACT Masters’ Subcommittee.
Who: Are you a current member as a player, coach, referee or volunteer, are passionate about water polo and looking to build the masters’ community within Water Polo ACT? Then this committee could be for you!
Committee Purpose: The purpose of the Committee is to provide an opportunity for masters’ members of the Water Polo community to have a voice in the overall direction of Masters’ Water Polo in the ACT. The committee will be tasked to improve opportunities for masters’ participants, past and present, to get involved with the sport of Water Polo. The Committee will also oversee and manage the Masters’ Competition/Training as well as attendance at tournaments and events included in the Masters Water Polo calendar.
Expectations: Committee members would be expected to meet virtually at least 6 times a year of which they would be expected to review pre-prepared material and/or contribute to the management of masters training, competitions and participation in events.
Interested?: Express your interest by completing an online nomination form before 29th October 2021. Your nomination needs to include;
· A short response to why you want to make a difference in masters water polo.
