1-DAY ONLY Open & Intermediate Fleet Training Term 1 [Feb-Mar 2021]

This program will start on Friday 05th February run for 8 weeks and finish on Saturday 27th March

FRIDAY 

• Open & Intermediate Fleet training 4:30 - 7:00pm
• Focus on Racing (strategy & tactics) 
• Combined racing developing starting, positioning, mark rounding skills. 

SATURDAY 

•  Intermediate Fleet training 9:00am - 12.00pm (pending on numbers)
• Open Fleet training 1.00pm - 4.00pm
• These training sessions will have smaller groups and be used to work on technical / boat speed and maneuvering skills. 

SUNDAY’s 

Club Racing & Green Fleet Coaching 12:00-3:30pm

Please note that these sessions will be a combination of:

1. Technical skills development e.g. boat-speed, boathandling, maneuvres dealt in smaller groups (Open fleet will sail separately to Intermediate fleet sailors) during this part of the session
2. Strategic, tactical and decision-making in larger groups (Open fleet will sail together to Intermediate fleet sailors) during this part of the session

Please remember to bring the following

• Boat fully rigged and ready
• Spares
• Notebook & pen
• Fitness clothing
• lunch box and water bottle
