Performance youth pathways 

- Course aimed for aspiring sailor's aged 13 - 17 years 

- Sundays 1230pm - 330pm  

- WSC can provide Laser 4.7 or Laser Radial however encourage to sail own boat 

- During the program you will also be exposed to 420 & 29er dinghies 

- Guided by Australian Sailing qualified instructors/coaches 

- Term rates $550 with out own boat , $450 with own boat

Course Overview
Having enjoyed your introduction to racing, it is now time to improve your performance and compete at a higher level. This course will provide you with a greater understanding of tactics, wind patterns and boat tuning techniques.

Course Prerequisites

Water confident, and you should have the skills, knowledge and experience gained from the Start Racing (Dinghy) course.

Who should do this course?

This course is designed for participants who wish to continue developing their racing skills in dinghies and want to learn more about tuning their boat and racing strategy and tactics. 

Course Outcome

You will gain your Better Racing (Dinghy) completion certificate. 

 

We recognise that some of our course participants are completing the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award and may be using sailing and/or club membership to complete one or more sections of The Award. To learn more, click here.
