Green Fleet is the entry level club coaching and introduction into racing for young sailors who have successfully completed the 'Tackers' Learn to Sail course, or have been assessed by instructors as sufficiently competent, and who wish to further advance their sailing towards competition level.

Woollahra Sailing Club provides young sailors with the opportunity to extend their sailing experience and build confidence on the water. It’s a great way to meet other young sailors, practice sailing techniques, and to develop and build an understanding of basic racing rules. Green Fleet is designed to introduce both sailors and their families to racing and what it means to be part of Woollahra Sailing Club's community in a fun and clear way.

Who should do this course?

This course is designed for participants who wish to learn the basics of racing and begin competing at club-level races. 

Course Outcome

You will gain your Start Racing (Dinghy) completion certificate. 

 

We recognise that some of our course participants are completing the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award and may be using sailing and/or club membership to complete one or more sections of The Award. To learn more, click here.
