Course information
Woollahra Sailing Club vacation care sports programme will proceed Monday 5 July - Friday 9th July 2021 following the guidelines set by the NSW Office of Sport.
- The Public Health Order does not prevent gatherings for the purpose of caring for children, which means that vacation care sports programs for this purpose can proceed. All premises should operate strictly in accordance with COVID-19 Safety Plan requirements. Given the current COVID-19 situation, NSW Health recommends that, where possible, parents keep their children at home during the holidays.
The safety and health of participants is our highest priority and all NSW government covid regulations will be followed to minimise risk during this period. Further safety requirements/details will be emailed to all participants.
Teens 'OUT THERE' Holiday Camp
Woollahra Sailing Club will utilise a wide variety of activities including Sailing Dinghies, Stand Up Paddle Boards, Windsurfers and Power boat adventures during the program. The aim of the program is to have fun, hang out with friends and learn new skills. All OutThere Sailing programs are delivered by qualified Australian Sailing Instructors for ages 13 - 17 years.
The cost includes instruction, equipment usage and certificate.
Date: Tuesday 6th of July untill Friday the 9th of July 2021
Time: 9am till 3pm each day
Cost: Members $515.00, Non members $565.00

What to Bring
Each participant will need to bring:
* Board shorts, rashie or/and wetsuit
* A change of warm clothes, Towel
* Sunscreen and hat
* Old shoes or rubber boots for sailing
* A packed lunch and drink (including snacks) , Teens are able to buy lunch from local Rose Bay shops.

Overview
OutThere Sailing Experience sessions are all about having fun and getting a taste for on water activities. This action-packed program will give you the opportunity to try one or all the following, sailing, windsurfing, stand up paddle boarding, powerboating and keelboating. Depending on your club, experience sessions will be held over 2-4 hours.
Prerequisites
Water confident.
Who should do this experience?
This experience is designed for participants who are 12-17 years-old looking to try a new activity, have some fun and engage with other teenagers.
