Rotary Club of Bendigo Donation

The Bendigo Region Women’s Shed (BRWS) recently received a very generous donation of $1,000 from the ROTARY CLUB OF BENDIGO. These funds are greatly appreciated and help enormously with the running of the Shed and its activities. We acknowledge and thank the Rotary Club of Bendigo for their greatly appreciated financial support towards the achievement of our aims, objectives and activities.

The Bendigo Region Women's Shed has a number of regular activities for members, they include:
Cards and Games on Tuesday's at the Long Gully Pavilion
Morning Tea on the 1st, 3rd and 4th Thursday at the Long Gully Pavilion
Social Lunch on the 2nd Thursday at a different venue each month
Craft on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday at the Long Gully Pavilion
Woodwork 1-4pm every Wednesday during school terms at the Marong Men's Shed
Book Club on the 3rd Friday at the Red Well Cafe at Bendigo Library

The Shed runs information sessions on a variety of topics - the next is at 11.00am on Thursday 23 July at the Long Gully Pavilion (21 Cunneen Street, Long Gully), Alex Fitzgerald from Fitzgerald Rayner Law will be presenting to BRWS members on the importance of having a will and estate planning.

The Rotary Club of Bendigo's donation enables BRWS to keep it's fees affordable for the women of Bendigo who need support and interaction with others to reduce isolation and improve mental health, as well as in learning new skills.
