2026 Woden Thunder Carnival

We are delighted to once again host the Woden Thunder Carnival on Sunday 22 February 2026.  So come and join us for a great day of athletics action.

The 2026 Carnival will include events for all ages from Under 9s (born 2017) to Open age athletes and include medals for place getters and a Woden Thunder Gift with a prize pool of $2000.

The following are some details about the day.

·       The venue is Woden Athletics Park which is off Ainsworth Street Phillip.

·       Gates open at 8am with the first event starting at 9.00am sharp.·

·       The canteen at the track will be open on the day as well as a coffee van and an ice cream van.

·      Winners of each age 100m metre race will be automatically entered into the Woden Thunder Gift event with wild cards selected from all other entrants in the 100m.  Handicaps for the Gift event will be based on athletes individual 100m times.

·       Woden Thunder members are required to volunteer for a role through SignUp. To choose the role you wish to volunteer for click here.
