Ahoy, mateys! Whether you're new to sailing or just looking to enjoy a leisurely sail, Wynnum Manly Sailing Club welcomes you aboard!

We're all about camaraderie and adventure on the water, so if you're ready to join in, here's the scoop: Every Sunday afternoon, we set sail for our Go Sailing (SAGS) race, where there's always room for visitors and casual crew members to hop on board. But hey, we like to plan ahead, so if you're keen to crew this Sunday, check Sail Instructions section to know the guide and rules and SailPass section and follow the steps to prepay.

Quick tip: Make sure to jot down your Aust Sailing Number – you'll need it every time you purchase a Sunday Sail Pass.

Bonus: Your Sailpass could even count as a credit towards WMSC Membership once you decide to join our awesome club. Fair winds and following seas!

Hey sailors! Ready to dip your toes into the exciting world of sailing with WMSC?

Our Introductory Membership via Australian Sailing's SailPass Scheme is your ticket.

Up to 25 days of adventure on the water! It's super easy: just $10 per day, only payable online by card.

No more cash, folks! Once you pay online, you'll get your Australian Sailing Number and a receipt, which doubles as your sail pass.

Just show it to us before hopping aboard! Didn't register online? No worries!

Use the SailPass QR Code at the club with your smartphone and bring your credit card.

SailPass is exclusively for Crew/Visitors, giving you a taste of sailing fun before joining the club.

Sail Instructions

  • Weather Check: Strong wind warning (over 25 knots) for Moreton Bay cancels race; Sailpass credit held for next crewing opportunity.
  • Arrival: Be at WMYC Patio (542 Royal Esplanade Manly) by 11:30 on Sunday; observe social distancing.
  • Essentials: Bring lunch, water, and a change of clothes.
  • Registration: If a boat is found, register for AS SailPass at $10 per day; pre-registering streamlines crew position.
  • Covid-19 Compliance: Mandatory pre-registration with Sailpass; adherence to Covid-19 restrictions.
