Competition:    Block Play: Level Play

Entry Fee:         $40 per player. (please quote invoice number when paying)

Prize:               Trophy & prize money awarded to the winner of each block.

Closing Date:  8 September (unless fully subscribed earlier)

Time:                Registration from 7:30am.  Start at 8:00 am.

Conditions of Play:

Tournament Details:           Block numbers are dependent on entry numbers, round robin format.
                                             Games will be played on both Saturday and Sunday.    
                                             Courts will be allocated by the Tournament Manager 
                                             and games may be double banked.

Time Limit:                          Games will be timed at 2 ¼   hours

Rules and                            The event will be conducted in accordance with The Laws
Regulations:                        of Association Croquet (7th Edition - 2021)

The Draw:                           First 16 entries go in the draw. Block A, B, C, D (numbers permitting). 
                                            World ranking as at the closing date will be used to 
                                            determine the draw.
                                            All games subject to alterations, depending on entries. 
                                           The draw will be available on Croquet Scores -   
                                            https://croquetscores.com/

                                           Refunds will not be given once the draw has been published on      
                                           Croquet Scores.

                                          Game results are to be recorded on the Record of Results and signed 
                                          by both players.
                                               

Equipment:                      Dawson International regulation balls. Quadway hoops set at 3 11/16”   

Handicap/Index:              Index cards are required on the day and must be updated after each 
                                         game. Final indexes must be recorded on the Tournament Handicap       
                                         Record. Handicap changes will be effective after completion of any 
                                         game in which players pass a trigger point.

Forfeiting:                        A competitor forfeiting a game will be withdrawn: scores for and 
                                         against will be deleted from the results, but game results will be 
                                         computed in rankings and on handicaps cards.   

Appeals:                          The Tournament Referee will resolve all appeals.               

N.B. Photos will be taken on the day and will be used on social media for promotional purposes.

The Tournament Manager will decide whether play in any match should continue if the weather is deteriorating.

Windsor Croquet Club reserves the right to cancel any event and all decisions of the Tournament Manager will be final.

Refreshments:               B.Y.O. lunch. 
                                       Tea, coffee and refreshments provided.
