Event Waiver and Participant Acknowledgement

By registering for and participating in the Wangaratta Historical Walking Tour, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Voluntary Participation
   I understand that my participation in this walking tour is entirely voluntary and at my own risk.

2. Physical Requirements
   I confirm that I am in good health and have a reasonable level of mobility to complete a walk of approximately 3 km. I understand that the tour involves walking on public footpaths, crossing roads, and navigating shared spaces.

3. Assumption of Risk
   I acknowledge that walking in public areas involves inherent risks, including but not limited to uneven surfaces, weather conditions, traffic, and interactions with other pedestrians or cyclists. I accept full responsibility for my personal safety during the event.

4. Safety Compliance
   I agree to follow all instructions provided by the tour organisers and to comply with relevant road and pedestrian safety laws, including using designated crossings and footpaths.

5. Personal Belongings
   I understand that I am responsible for my own belongings and that the organisers are not liable for any loss, theft, or damage.

6. Liability Waiver
   To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless the event organisers, volunteers, and associated parties from any and all liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from or in connection with my participation in this event.

7. Weather Preparedness
   I acknowledge that the event will proceed in most weather conditions and agree to come prepared with appropriate clothing, sun protection, and hydration.

8. Minors
   Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult who will remain with them for the duration of the walk and accept full responsibility for their safety and conduct.
