The WHM Gala Day 2025 will be held on Saturday 6th December from 11:30am to 5:00pm. Games will include:
Men Hips v Knees – the Bionic Cup
Men Cancers v Hearts – the Survivors Cup
Men Over 80's – the OBE Challenge Cup
Breast Friends v Nice n Kneesy – Womens Challenge Cup
Women's Over 70's
Nominations are now open for the following categories. Selection priority is given first to eligible WHM members. If insufficient eligible members nominate then consideration will be given to other eligible nominations. If eligible you may nominate for more than one category.
Hips - Priority for nominees who have had a total or partial hip replacement followed by those who have had hip arthroscopic procedures.
Knees - Priority for nominees who have had a full or partial knee replacement followed by those who have had arthroscopic surgery (eg. meniscus repair, ligament reconstruction)
Cancers - Priority for cancer survivor nominees who have undergone surgery and/or Chemotherapy, Radiation Therapy, Immunotherapy, Hormone Therapy or Targeted Therapy. If insufficient nominees then consideration given to those with skin cancer removals (melanoma/basal cell carcinoma/squamous cell carcinoma
Hearts - must have had some form of heart surgery (open heart surgeries, angioplasties, stent insertion, pacemaker or Other).
Over 80's - must have been born in 1946 or earlier
