Nominations are now open for the Club Person of the Year Award 2024.

Award Criteria: To nominate a fellow member, please consider the following criteria:

Exemplary Behaviour: The nominee should consistently display commendable behaviour, both on and off the court, setting a good example for all members. They do not have to be the top performing player within the club.

Contribution to the Club: Look for individuals whose contributions have significantly bettered our club. Their "can do" attitude and dedication to squash and the well-being of the WLSC are what set them apart.

Event Participation: Nominees must have participated in all club events throughout the year, including the three Pennants in 2023 and the Club Championships, demonstrating their commitment to our club's activities.

Eligibility to Vote: You are eligible to vote if you were a playing member (that is, registered for any of the 3 Pennants), a social member or a digital member in 2023.

Submit Nominations Online: Nominations must be submitted via email and addressed to the Club Vice-President and Life Member, Mr Rob Spooner at loisandrob@optusnet.com.au. Please include in your nomination, in 25 words or less, why you believe this person deserves to be the Club Person of the Year.

Winner: All nominations will be considered by the 3 playing Life Members Rob Spooner, Wendy Fox and Trevor Ryan and a final decision will be made and the winner announced at the Annual Presentation Night on Saturday 1^st June 2024.

Deadline for Nominations: Please ensure your nominations are submitted by Monday 27^th May 2024 at 5.00PM, after which no further submissions will be accepted.

This is a fantastic opportunity to recognize that special member and we look forward to receiving your nomination.
