Wenty Leagues Squash Club has arranged the Inter-Club Challenge 2024 Home Leg with Canterbury Squash Club on Saturday 13th July 2.00PM - 5.00PM at Northmead Squash Centre. 

Objective: Promote the game of squash, build a rapport and socialise amongst ‘like-minded’ squashies and widen the squash network.

Proposed Teams: Both clubs will present highly competitive squads of 18 players. All players have been grouped into 6 divisions based on their Sporty HQ rating at 30/06/2024 with the top 3 registered players in each division selected to play.

Due to the significant difference in HQ ratings between the Clubs, the division groups are as follows:

 

Div 1:   1200 +

Div 2:   1050 - 1199

Div 3:     950 - 1049

Div 4:     840 - 949

Div 5:     785 - 839

Div 6:     700 - 784

Players under 699 will only be eligible if insufficient numbers have registered.

Format: Each match is PAR 15 and the best of 5. A handicap (to be determined) will apply to make the matches closer and more competitive. The winner of the day would be the Club who wins the most games. If level, the most points and if points are level, the most matches won.

Match Schedule: All divisions from 1 to 6 will commence at 2.00PM and will conclude at 4.00PM.

Presentation and Celebration: 4.00PM – 5.00PM After the matches have been concluded, everyone is invited to join in and share some food and drinks with members of Canterbury Leagues Squash Club. The finger food (pizza, sandwiches & party pies) plus drinks (beer and soft drinks) will be on the house.
