Hookin2Hockey Club of the Year!!

Wellington Hockey Club are ecstatic to inform the Club that we won the 2021 Hockey Victoria Hookin2Hockey Club of the Year Award. Congratulations to all!

The Hookin2Hockey Club of the Year Award recognises Hockey Victoria Affiliates (Victorian Clubs /Associations) that best engaged with their local community to drive entry level junior participation and provide a structured pathway to enable increased player retention within their club and sport, with a particular focus on Hookin2Hockey.

A huge shout out to our almost 50 young participants, jam-packed with enthusiasm and dedication, along with the support of parents, guardians and families. You guys are what this award is all about!

Wellington Hockey Club would like to sincerely thank all coaches, admin and volunteers who offered their time working on the program, behind the scenes and throughout each Hookin2Hockey session during the 8-week program held at the GRSC between March and April earlier this year.

A massive thank you to all involved. What a fantastic effort, and hope to see you all in the 2022 Season.
