Waverley's Hookin2Hockey program kicks off again in Term 1 2026!  The program focuses on building and expanding the basic skills of hockey through some targetted drills and implementing the learnings during fun and engaging games.  The program is appropriate for brand new players and players returning to under 8 and under 10 hockey for another season.  This prepares most of the players to progress to our under 8 and under 10 competition teams for Term 2 and beyond (skills based activities also remain available for younger or additional new players in future Terms). 

Our 2026 Term 1 program will run for 5 weeks on Saturday mornings from 9am - 10am.  Children are welcome to attend a come and try session at any stage during the program before officially registering for the program.     

The majority of attendees will be 10 and under.  We can also cater for children who are older who are looking to start their hockey journeys either in this program or other alternative programs.  Any questions can be directed to Drew at juniors@waverleyhc.org.au including questions on the opportunities for older participants who are new to hockey.
