Hi Hockey families,

I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a fantastic New Year!  Now that we have reached January good and proper it's time to start thinking about picking up the sticks, shin guards, mouthguards and dusting off that keeping gear for the 2026 season.

If you are keen to umpire this year, could you please let me know so we can put your name on the roster!

Check out all thats happening in the next 3 months, followed by the 2026 Season structure.

January:

The Summer Social Comp starting - tonight (Tuesday 13th) is the sign up night, we will have the bar open, a social game happening so come on down at 6pm.  If you don't have a team come on down and we will find a spot for you.  This is open to players old and new! You just have to be turning 13 years old in 2026 to play. If you are a GK and keen for a game let me know.

• 20th January - 24th February on Tuesday Nights
• $300 per team
• 9 players per team

February:

• Primary and High School comp starting up on the 19th Feb through to the 26th March. 
• Condy 9s comp on the 20th Feb - 22nd Feb. 
• Team nominations are due 7th February - so if you haven't already start organising your team for this weekend. 
• We are aiming to have 2 comps a Vets comp for over 35's (women over 30) and an opens comp - players aged 18yrs+.
• Please email Carly hockeyops@warwickhockeyassoc.org.au if you would like to nominate a team.
• 2 Come and Try Mornings 9am-11am, Saturday the 7th and 14th.  Let your friends know or even better bring them down.  We will have equipment for players to use.

March:

• Senior season starts on Friday the 6th of March. 
• We have both the Mens and Ladies comps on the Friday night for the first 4 weeks - if we have more than 4 teams we will split the comp to Thursday and Friday nights.
• Primary and High School Comp Final 24th March
• Junior Grading day 9am Saturday 28th March

2026 Fee Structure (includes HA & HQ fees) (payment plans available for all classes)

Seniors 19yrs+ - $498.62 

Seniors Student 19-24yrs - $407.53 

Juniors 9-18yrs - $286.60

Hin2H 4-8yrs - $93.48

Hin2H (with pack) - $133.48

Secondary Rego Seniors $150

Secondary Rego Juniors $85

All senior players registered by 20th February will receive a $10 bar voucher and all juniors will recieve a $5 canteen voucher as well as entry to the draw to win Blaze merchandise.

As always I can't wait to see you all down on the turf at some stage this year.
