Walkerville Softball Club had many participants in last weekends State Championships.
Congratulations to the following members,

Adelaide A grade, Sophie King, Sophie Roberts, Chelsea Martinez, Georgia Mason, Maxine Saunders, Derek Roberts (Scorer) & Belinda Stansfield (Coach).

Hayley Mayer who hit her first BOMB, and Brooke Bethune representing Central Districts.

Kiva Gunson who played in the winning under 16 team for Port Adelaide.

Tammy Mason & Mackenzie Hunt-Bredl who played in the winning B grade team for Port Pirie

Julie & Melissa Briggs who played for the Riverland C grade team supported by scorer Jason Saunders

And of course Lee Saunders for her support as grounds crew.

The A grade Adelaide Lions team faced the Adelaide Tigers in a close battle where the Lions were victors 2-0. Congratulations to Sophie Roberts, Chelsea Martinez, Hayley Mayer & Brooke Bethune who also made the A grade team of the year.
