Hey Everyone!
Hope you have all been enjoying the off-season to relax and recover before we kick off the 2026/27 season in the next couple of weeks.
Firstly, I would like to thank everyone who attended our recent AGM. This is an important club event which not only reviews the clubs financials, general business and the past softball season but it also elects the Committee for the upcoming season. Your support and attendance is appreciated.
I would also like to congratulate Ebony Yard, who was awarded Honorary Life Membership for Valley View Eagles Softball Club at the last AGM. For over 15 years, Ebony has consistently stepped up to support the club whether on the field as a coach and player, within the committee, or working tirelessly behind the scenes. Congratulations on this special acheivement.
The Committee are already working hard behind the scenes and looking at new fundraising opportunities, preparing for the upcoming season and doing all the other fun things that keep the club going.
As you would have hopefully seen by now, pre-season will be commencing on Sunday 2 August (10am juniors, 11am seniors).
These sessions will continue each Sunday (excluding Father’s Day 6/9 and Labour Day long weekend 4/10). Weeknight training session will then commence after the October long weekend.
As always, pre-season sessions will be open to all new and returning players so please make sure you get out there to see some friendly faces and start getting out some of the winter rust!!
Information about 2026/27 coaching announcements, club fees and more other general season information will be made very soon - please stay tuned on Spond and social media.
