Volleyball Ballarat look forward to welcoming new and returning teams for the 2025 VB Skins, building on a record 56 teams in 7 divisions in 2024. 

We are excited to announce that we will be playing at Ballarat's biggest venue, Selkirk Stadium for the first time, allowing us to bring the majority of our divisions back into the one place, creating a great tournament experience on and off the court. Selkirk is a state of the art venue with good social spaces including a cafe area, lounge and bar, ample parking and plenty of viewing seats. 

We are now pleased to announce that our second venue will be the brand new Rintel Centre at Ballarat Grammar School, approximately 1km directly up Norman street from the main stadium. The Rintel Center has just undergone a multi-million dollar extension and this will be the first major event to access the facility so specific information will be provided to all teams once entries close. We look forward to welcoming yoiu all to a premium volleyball experience in 2025!

For those who came in late, the ‘Skins’ format offers:

• a ‘Skin’ if a team can defeat it's opponent 25-12 or better in a set
• ‘Skins’ will jackpot each timeslot if not claimed
• a ‘Skin’ could be cash, a sponsored voucher or prize to the equivalent value
• the value of ‘Skins’ for each division will be confirmed with the draw based on final entries

With cash on the line in every match, 'Skins' provide extra incentive to all teams to play every point in every set, making this tournament unique and great fun. “Skins” are in addition to prizemoney in each division and prizemoney will be determined by sponsorship and the number of entries in each division. 

Tournaments are critical to the survival of all Regional Associations and we encourage all teams to look at the VV calendar and plan ahead to participate in as many as possible.
