Expressions of interest (EOI) are now open for The Brian Reither Challengeto be held at VCC, Cairnlea from 19-20 September 2026.
This prestigious event is named in honour of the contribution to croquet of Life Member of Croquet Victoria, Brian Reither (Ballarat Alexandra CC).
Closing date for expressions of interest isFriday 11 September 2026.
ELIGIBILITY: The event will be run with a maximum of 12 players. Players with an EOI will be ranked on their World Ranking (DGrade) for Association Croquet as at the closing date.
If there are 12 or more EOI's, the top 12 players on DGrade will be accepted into the event and the remainder will go on a waitlist in case of withdrawals
If less than 12 EOI's, then all are accepted into the event. Late entries will be considered for acceptance in order of receipt
FORMAT: Two blocks of 6, playing a Round Robin with the top 2 in each block progressing to Semifinals and Final. If there are less than 12 acceptances, the format will be at the Tournament Manager's discretion.
ENTRY FEE: $45 to be paid after you are accepted into the event
