The Online Preliminary Member Course is the first step in becoming a qualified Foundational Member (Cadet Equivalent).
It is an interactive online course, which requires active participation in a number of activities such as warm up and strengthening exercises, as well as club and rod technique activities etc.
Prerequisites to the Preliminary Course are as follows...
- A current WWCC if over 18yrs
- A financial member with VCCA
Please Note: You must be a minimum of 15 years of age to complete this course.
Upon enrolment and payment for the course, VCCA will send you a link to our external online platform "Rise" where you can use your RevSport details to login and complete the Online Preliminary Member Course.
Once the online course has been completed, you can enrol in a 'Foundation Assessment Day' which is a face to face session (approximately 1.5hours) where you will be assessed on your ability to assist a class. Passing this assessment will complete your Foundation accreditation process (Cadet Equivalent).
You must pay your course invoice in order to receive the link to Rise.
