Event Waiver
🛼 Come & Try Participation Requirements
All participants taking part in the Roller Derby Come & Try session must complete the required insurance regisation-http://skatevic.org/ComeAndTry before participating.
Participants must follow all instructions from Varsity Derby League coaches and volunteers and wear the required protective equipment. Roller skating involves a risk of falls and injury, so participants must follow safety directions at all times.
Age requirements:

Participants must be aged 16 years or older to take part in the Come & Try session.

Participants aged 16 or 17 must have a responsible adult present to supervise them throughout the Come & Try session.

Participants must complete the required waiver before skating. Where a participant is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete or consent to the waiver as required.

Donations are appreciated and help support Varsity Derby League and our ongoing community activities.
⚠️ Safety & Responsibility
By participating in the Come & Try session, participants acknowledge that roller derby and roller skating involve inherent risks, including falls and injury. Participants agree to follow all safety instructions and use the required protective equipment.
Participants must not skate if they feel unwell or are unable to participate safely. Varsity Derby League reserves the right to stop a participant from taking part if safety requirements are not met.
