GUN BARREL BANKED SLALOM
Now in its 4th decade this iconic banked slalom event at Hotham’s famed Gun Barrel has morphed from a local competition into a celebration of the global snowboarding community.
The first event ran in the early 90’s as a collaborative effort between Hotham resort and Hotham Boardriders with the support of the Australian snowboard industry. As a result, the event has become an annual pilgrimage for the snowboarding community to unite and compete in its purest form on epic natural terrain. Professionals to weekend warriors come together in this fun community event to test their skills in the famed Gun Barrel, the spiritual home of snowboarding at Hotham.
